Celebration of life: Wednesday, October 30 at 6p.m. at Northview Christian Church, 12900 Hazel Dell Pkwy, Carmel, IN 46033.
Mary A. Phillips, 79, of Noblesville passed away on October 25, 2013 at IU Health-University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in Danville, IL on September 1, 1934, the daughter of Norman and Mabel Deckard. Mary grew up in northern Indiana and graduated from South Bend Central High School. She married Floyd Phillips in June 1952. Mary and Floyd started their family in northern Indiana and eventually settled in southern Indiana. Mary worked at K-Mart and retired after 25 years of dedicated service. Later in life, she worked at Kroger and retired after eight years of faithful service. Mary was passionate about her family and friends and loved to spend time with her eight grandchildren. Mary always had a positive outlook on life and had a great sense of humor. She was a talented seamstress and loved to cook. Mary is survived by sons Brad Phillips of Cape Coral, FL and Patrick Phillips of Noblesville, daughters Kathy (Bob) Marnocha of Rochester, MN and Bridget (Brad) Bieberich of Fishers, grandchildren Ryan McHenry, Michael Marnocha, Matthew Marnocha, Spencer Phillips, Connor Phillips, Riley Phillips, Kennedy Phillips and Emma Bieberich. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Phillips in 1994. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, October 30 at 6p.m. at Northview Christian Church, 12900 Hazel Dell Pkwy, Carmel, IN 46033. I finally found your Mom ,after all these years..I loved your Mom she was the greatest person to have in your life. I will always treasure her memory …so very sorry for the great loss.. I lost my Dad ( John. Bernard ) a couple yrs. ago . I hope u remember me as we live right across the street when Brad was in high school an my dad shaved off all his hair.. That was not good . Our mom left my dad 25 yrs. ago she had turned 20 again.. so she doesn’t see us kids .Well hope all is well with all 4 of u. Take Care. Always wondered what happen to u all. God Bless. Christy Bernard
